Drew specializes in entertainment matters holding a both a J.D. and LL.M. (masters specialized in entertainment law) from Brooklyn and UCLA Law —widely regarded as two of the most prestigious entertainment law programs in the nation (see links below if interested).
Specifically, Drew's work includes negotiating contracts/deals, litigating, Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR" like mediation and arbitration), and providing litigation and conflict resolution consultation to other attorneys. He has also been brought in to assist in negotiation and meditation in high-value corporate and real estate disputes.
His clients range from new to established artists and producers working with legacy and Top-10 acts, independent and major record labels, and events including the Met Gala and SXSW. Recently, Drew has taken on work assisting several established independent record labels.
Drew moved from LA to NYC for law school and now spends time between the two. He was trained professionally in entertainment law representing A-List artists in Hip Hop and Pop at Sedlymayr & Associates, a top boutique law firm in Manhattan with clients including Drake, Post Malone, DJ Khaled, Migos, and Eminem among many others.
